All I know of this place is that it sells clothes that my father likes, and clothes that Colombian drug dealers like. I mean, the kind of guy who has every day off and likes to wear long white slacks that blow in the wind and smoke cigars while making million dollar illegal dealings with that loose button up t-shirt to go with it. He usually has his bodyguards dressed up in suits and sunglasses, while he gets to parade around making hit lists. I know, I know… why would my pastor father like dressing like this? I don’t know. But at least he isn’t involved in illegal shenanigans.
Moving on. In the Town Square close to Las Vegas Blvd there’s the BEST happy hour menu in town. Located at the Tommy Bahama restaurant… yup. Adjacent to the clothing store. Since moving to Vegas we have been here three times. I think that’s a pattern with me. If I visit a place three times then it’s worth blogging about.
If you make it out to Vegas, and I hope you do, please make the time to leave the strip for a sec and check out this fantastic restaurant. You will be blown away by just about everything on their menu, especially their blackened fish tacos, ahi poke salad, and their Cuban sandwich. The ambiance is very Caribbean-dream-esque. The wine menu and selection is fantastic, and so are their cocktails! Be sure that no matter what you order, you get a side of plantains with the coconut pineapple sauce. Eat it while you’re having dinner. It will seem like a dessert, but pair it with everything or go solo! I cannot say enough good things about this place, I can’t wait to go back to Vegas and do this again with my husband. The happy hour menu is worth it… literally everything on there is bursting with flavor. If you go for happy hour, be sure to get their warm goat cheese. Oh. Em. Geeeeez.
Hope you’re all having a fabulous Monday! Cheers!
