Hi there Tals! Sorry I’ve been MIA this past week but as you know, we were hosting Christmas at the house (another first for us) and all last week was prep. Cleaning house and wrapping up gifts, setting up the tree and cooking. Everything turned out pretty good all in all! We went so all out for Thanksgiving that for Christmas we decided to keep things a little more casual.
The menu we settled on was this:
Roasted Garlic & Mozzarella Balls
Cheese & Crackers
Brown Sugar Ham
Mashed Potatoes & Gravy
Apple-Bacon Cornbread Dressing
Corn, Asparagus & Tomato Salad
We’re still working through the ham… There was a good deal on an 8.4 pound-er it ended up being $20 so.. why not, right? You know I’m about to fry up some slices in brown sugar and do a nice big, late breakfast! We missed you guys for Christmas but I’m sure you had a great time. Those two little ones kept you mighty busy I’m sure. Here are some snaps of the night.
A co-worker of mine had a spare artificial tree that she gave to us! It was so super sweet of her and it’s huge! 9′ of tree. I almost didn’t think it would fit in our house because I’m still so used to living in places with some seriously limited ceilings. Anyway on to the images! Lots of festivity happening here.
