This time last week we were packing our bags to head to Boston! Jeff and I had a wedding to photograph out that way, and like I mentioned for the previous blog with the Georgia wedding, we arrived two days earlier to rest up, location scout, and well… try new restaurants.
The first two days were pouring rain. The wedding was on Thursday and thankfully by then, everything cleared up. But wow… when I say raining, I mean, 40 degrees and sideways rain. So thankful that the couple had clear skies and sun bursts for their wedding. Apparently there were 8 straight days of rain until Thursday… so their timing was, well… perfect.
This post is dedicated to: Tapeo! Jeff and I cannot stop talking about the amazing selection of tapas this place has. First of all, if you’re in Boston you have to visit Newbury Street. We tried their sangria and several tapas at their hand painted tile bar downstairs. Monday-Thursday they offer $5 tapas and every one we tried was fantastic! The goat cheese, honey and shredded carrot on toast, the squid ink and fried in butter calamari, the croquettes, the meatballs in spicy aioli, their braised beef sandwich.. oh em geeeee I just wish we had enough room to try more (we just ate a couple hours prior.. told ourselves we just wanted a drink and ended up ordering food due to all the sights and smells!) 😩😋 We can’t wait to go back and try their Spanish wines (the list looked 👌🏼👌🏼) and the rest of their tapas menu.
Here is a video, so I don’t go on repeating myself too much. You guys have been super supportive about all the videos I am making lately, that means a lot! <3
