The Final Days and What’s to Come Next

    Dear Talia,

Ultra high five! I know it probably wouldn’t look good for your business to send something like that out but I know how you feel. I wish I could send it for you! She seems too spacey and disorganized for the profession. I don’t understand how a “professional” wedding planner could be so rude. Where do people pick up these habits along the way? I’d say just remember that name and steer clear of it in the future.

Thank you again for looking after the little one. We are so terribly up to the gills with our moving to-do list. If you could see the place now you’d probably think we are crazy. Where did all the time go? It feels like just yesterday I was sitting around trying to plan every step of the move and now I’m living it and it’s not what I had imagined. How I wish we had a couple extra weeks to get our lives in order. HA.

We just said our last goodbyes to a couple of friends who won’t be able to make it to the big BBQ on Sunday. It doesn’t feel real at all. I’m beginning to understand what you and Jeff went through saying yours in San Diego before moving up here but yikes! 3000 miles is quite a distance. It’s all becoming more apparent how much we will miss our close friends who are staying on the west coast. So many good (and not so great) memories that we will be waving goodbye to from a plane high above the city. At least we aren’t moving to a separate country….

On a lighter note though, I really love the second option for your outfit. The pants are awesome but I think the monochromatic tights help your top stand out better. Really cute. What do you think of mine? Just bopping around the city and doing errands. Haha. I’m in love with my cloak but I doubt it’ll hold up in real weather.

I can’t wait to see you all on Monday! It’s going to be a wacky time for sure.
