Another “TJ Tues with Talia Cruz” for ya! This one is super simple… I think the longest part about this little appetizer is picking out which red wine would go best with it. Can’t go wrong with a cab or pinot if you ask me!
I can’t ever leave Trader Joes without picking up a box (or two or three) of my favorite crisps. I found these babies back in April and oh my word. The Fig & Olive Crisps I can just eat on their own. Devour half a box in one sitting. I’ve found however that they are the perfect pair to either manchego the 1,000 day Gouda that I love to get there as well! The Raisin Rosemary ones weren’t my favorite UNTIL there was a sampling of them the other day with goat cheese (and honey!) .. then the world stopped and I thought, “yes, yes this is how to eat these!”
Reasons I wouldn’t want to share these crackers with anyone:
- On the in case that you shop at my Trader Joes, they will run out. I don’t know what I would do with myself if they ran out. I might wander down the aisle a few times and see if perhaps in that 5 minute window it was re-filled while I was checking out the flowers in the front.
- They will sell out and then when they come back they will raise the price suddenly on these from $3.99 to $5.99 but guess what I will still buy them.
A reason to share these faves is so that I am not the only one purchasing them and they never stop making them! They will realize over in those factories that hey! People are diggin’ these! Let’s press on folks!
So there you have it. Easiest snack and easiest post. Pair the Raisin Rosemary crisps with the Chevre with honey goat cheese and I pair the Fig and Olive crisps with
MY MOUTH any sharp cheese, manchego, or the 1,000 -day Gouda. Something so easy to set out when company is coming over or when you’re husband comes home from work while you go fix him some real food. Pair with wine and enjoy! <3
